Well today is Rebecca’s baby shower. Of course I get to help setup and take down. This is just another step toward the arrival of the baby. Our friend L* is really really close. From the descriptions and stories we are getting she should be in stage one labor. Of course this may be exaggerated a bit. I am looking forward to the end of the shower though. That will tell us what stuff we need to go and get. Right now that is our biggest question mark.
One interesting thing though is that the pediatrician that I had as a kid is still practicing medicine and it appears that he will be Cassidy’s pediatrician as well. For me that is a bit weird. I figure he would have retired by now. When I was in school and I would leave one grade level for the next my previous years teacher either moved or retired. It kind of gives a kid a complex. We will meet up with Dr. L* Thursday of next week. Bec and I have planned the whole day. Work til 11 then her doctors appointment, and then Dr L*. After that the satellite gets a re-alignment.
So does anyone have an must have items that we will not be able to live without? I really looking for things that will make life easier within the first 3 months of Cassidy’s life. After 3 months I will look for the next set of things. All suggestions will be appreciated.
Well I have to go and help Mom setup. I will chat will you all later.
