So I finally got an Iphone. I also finally updated my blog. Cassidy is growing and growing fast. She is 18 months old now. She is wAlking and babaling up a storm. She likes books and up tempo music. She dances around and played. She had her toes painted last weekend. She Is becomming a little girl. I think this Is my favorite time now. Her being a todler has been a lot of fun.

Well my boss quit a couple of weeks ago. Things are changing. So far it is for the better. We will see what happens though.

New Videos and New Pictures

OK, lets face it I have been horrible about updating this thing.  Turth be told after you get home from work and then play with Cassidy then you eat dinner and then all of the sudden it is bed time.  I haven’t had the time to update Flickr, YouTube or the Blog.

Flickr is updated you can click on the Flickr feed for more pictures.  I finally got around to uploading all of the Christmas pictures.

First Dance Issues

***Update***     The video has been re-posted with out the audio.  Family will be receiving a DVD with the original video and pictures in the coming week or so.

So the copywright police serverd me with a notice.  I have to redo the first dance video of Jimmy and Amanda.  The song was flagged by You Tube / Googles’ copywright police.  I am having the audio disabled.  Hopefully it will be republished soon.  Sorry for the problem.

DRM Follow Up

So I found a program that will let me free my music. It is called NoteBurner. If you are interested in stripping the DRM from your iTunes music and you own a Mac (or Windows) then NoteBurner is for you. Yes I paid the $40.00 bucks for it but I was looking at $700.00 plus to repurchase DRM free versions of the songs. This way I saved $660.00 dollars. It is easy to use. You just drop your DRM songs into a playlist  in iTunes and then burn the playlist as you would to a normal CD. What NoteBurner does is create a virtual CD-Burner. iTunes thinks it is burning to a CD and what it is really doing is sending the song to NoteBurner.  NoteBurner removes the DRM and creates a new file for you. It took me about 3 days to finish. I tried to give it all 700 of my DRM songs at once and well it crashed a couple of times. Break it up into 2 or 3 maybe more playlist depending on how much DRM music you have. It is worth the cost. Once you are done just delete the songs out of iTunes and then import your new files. NoteBurner keeps your ID3 tag information and the cover art.

They Think There Special

So I am in Florida for J&A’s wedding. I am staying at a Hilton Garden Inn. Hilton owns such hotels as Hilton, Hamption Inn, and Embassy Sweets. That is just a few. I would rank the Hilton Garden Inn at 2 1/2 or maybe 3 star hotel. Hampton would be there 2 start line. I don’t think they are a special hotel. I don’t they they are nice enough to charge you for breakfast. Oh and charge you $8.95 for breakfast at that. It is a typical hotel breakfast. Sausage, bacon, eggs, pastries, muffins, cereal, and fruit. There isn’t any thing to make you go wow. It isn’t like you can get an omelet or a stack of pancakes. Come on now. The breakfast is similar to other hotels free breakfast. If you are going to charge a premium for your breakfast I better get something closer to IHOP than McDonalds.
